Thomas Carlyle Drew, 81, of Nichols passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born in Horry County on August 9, 1938, the son of the late Robert Everett Drew and the late Golda Elliott Drew.
He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He also loved to work on anything with wheels.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by three brothers, R.J., Lavern, and Hosey Drew.
He is survived by a son, Everette Drew (Jennifer) of Nichols, two brothers, Lester Drew (Clara Mae) of Fair Bluff, NC and William Drew (Willa Mae) of Conway; a sister, Shirley D. Strickland (Donnie Earl) of Nichols; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
