Mullins- William Preston Cox, 95, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Mullins Nursing Center. He was born in Horry County, the son of the late W.S. and Mary Dorman Cox. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Cox was predeceased by his wife, Wyoming Inman Cox. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Rosa Bryan of Mullins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Red Hill Memorial Gardens directed by Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
