William Charles Strickland, 56, of Fair Bluff passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1964 in Camden, South Carolina, the son of the late Jesse Strickland and the late Addie Jo Enzor Strickland.

William loved music and loved to sing and dance, having once won top prize in an Elvis impersonator contest. Being very athletic as well, he enjoyed swimming, lifting weights and watching sporting events on television. William also found pleasure in working in his yard, but his greatest joy came from being with his family.

In addition to his parents, William is predeceased by a brother, Steve Willard Strickland.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Strickland of Fair Bluff; two sisters, Jessica Strickland Morris (Richard) of Lexington and Teresa Weatherford (Tony) of Murrells Inlet; a half-brother, Jess Strickland of Lexington; two half-sisters, Mona Strickland of Lexington; and Tiffany Mishoe (Wesley) of Columbia; a special cousin, Wanda Gunsallus of Green Sea, and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 in the sanctuary of Spring Branch Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the church.
