Winston Lawrimore, 74, of Bennettsville, and formerly of Mullins passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at McLeod Health in Cheraw. He was born in Horry County, the son of the late Holland William Lawrimore, Sr. and Myrtie Hyman Lawrimore.

Winston spent his younger years living on a small tobacco farm on the outskirts of Mullins where he enjoyed working on the farm and playing sports. He loved life and people and made friends easily.

Winston was predeceased in addition to his parents, by a brother, Holland W. Lawrimore Jr.

He is survived by two brothers, Marshall Lawrimore and his wife, Cindy, of Columbus, Georgia and Russell Lawrimore and his wife, Donna of Bracey, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Catherine Lawrimore of Myrtle Beach, and six nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Devotion Gardens in Mullins. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Winston is in the care of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins.
